"The Tillman lightweight flame retardant cotton welding jacket with Cowhide split leather sleeves is designed to self-extinguish when exposed to flame or thermal ignition sources. Offers protection from sudden flame exposure, welding sparks and spatter. Made from flame retardant, 100% cotton Westex® FR7A®; 9 oz flame retardant 100% cotton fabric meets ASTM D6413-10. ASTM D6413-10 is used to determine a pass/fail criteria for ASTM F1506, which requires a maximum char length of 6 inches. Sleeves made from specially tanned side split Cowhide and sewn with DuPont™ Kevlar® thread. Sleeves Soapstone pocket on each sleeve. Rugged snap closure. Two inner pockets. Made to fit over shirts. FR Cotton torso Maintains flame resistance for up to 50 home washings at 145°F or 25 commercial washings up to 165°F.
